Easter paper basket

On the eve of Easter, you can make a basket of colored paper with your child. She will serve not only children's fun. A decorative basket will be appropriate in family or child photography. And you can put an Easter present in it, and not only that. You can pack your birthday present with your own hands much more originally than simply wrapping it in paper.
Materials for work:

• colored paper;
• White paper;
• scissors;
• glue;
• pencil;
• ruler.

Easter basket instructions

From a sheet of colored paper of the color you like, you need to cut a square. Its side here is 15 cm. Dimensions may be different. But in order to make it convenient to make calculations in the future, the length of the side must be chosen as a multiple of three.
On the upper and lower sides we mark sections of 5 and 10 cm. Draw 5 cm segments vertically up (or down) from these points. Cut them with scissors.
The corners of the square are cut, making them rounded.
We begin to collect the basket. We bend the middle parts of the workpiece inside the square.
The side part of the workpiece is imposed on the middle. We glue it.
In the same way, we bend the remaining three parts of the workpiece. So that it does not fall apart, it is worth fixing the places of gluing with paper clips. And after drying, remove them.
The handle for the basket will be made of two strips stacked one on top of the other. The first strip - wider - will be white. The second is a little narrower and orange.
Fill the empty space in the basket with paper shavings. To do this, cut white paper into narrow strips, curl them with ordinary scissors.
Glue the handle to the basket. Pour paper chips inside.
For additional decoration of the basket we will make a two-color bow from paper.
We glue it at the place of attachment of the handle to hide possible defects.
