In order to be able to quickly expose and butt-weld two pieces of a round pipe, the author proposes to make a simple device with your own hands.
This will require a piece of pipe, the diameter of which will be slightly larger than the diameter of the pipes that need to be welded together.
We cut a piece of pipe of the length we need (about 15 cm), make a markup and cut it along the grinder along. The result should be two identical halves.
Using a drill or on a grinding machine, it will be necessary to grind the edges of the workpieces in place of the cut.

The main stages of work
At the next stage, the author makes small grooves in the center of the blanks using angle grinder. Their edges will also need to be sanded.
Actually, this is all the work - our homemade product is completely ready.
We insert two pipes that need to be butt welded into the first groove, and cover with the second one from above.
We fix the device with the help of two metal clamps with fixing screws.
Now you can put gloves. Then we remove the adapt and scald the pipes completely.
