A mirror with bulbs in the frame is called a make-up mirror. From the dressing rooms of stars and salons, this element gradually migrated to the living rooms and bedrooms.

Such a mirror gives uniform diffused light. Of course, in addition to convenience, it looks stylish and unusual, giving the interior a special gloss.

Pick a sheet of chipboard with your favorite coating and a tone for processing edges to match it.

Or immediately select a chipboard of the appropriate size, if possible. Decide on the size of the frame, make holes for light bulbs in it.

Also at the end of the plate cut a groove for the mirror. If the mirror will be on the floor, cut out parts of the stand.

The main stages of work

Glue a film on the back side of the mirror. This is necessary not only for decoration, but also for safety. If the mirror breaks, the fragments will not fly around.

Put silicone in the groove, so the mirror will definitely not wobble. Pour glue into the dowel holes. Now you can start assembling the structure.

If the groove is too narrow, do not rush to expand it. Perhaps it would be enough to knock a mirror with a mallet. If the edges of the chipboard were not finished, glue them with tape.

To keep the cartridge in the grooves, the easiest way is to attach a perforated metal tape on both sides. Now you can fix the stand. After that, insert the cartridges and make the wiring.

It remains to screw in the light bulbs and the mirror is ready. Please note that light bulbs should be taken at a low brightness, because due to their number the light may be too bright.

Of course, ordinary incandescent bulbs will not work, because looking at them hurts your eyes.

Such a mirror will decorate any studio or salon, and is also perfect for the modern interior of the house.
