When you need to chop a large amount of onions or other vegetables - this is a whole hassle. But there is a solution to this problem. The author suggests making a simple vegetable cutter from kitchen knives and a reducer.
A battery is used as a power source. The author himself decided to make the vegetable cutter disk out of a round cutting board (wooden).
First of all, in the center of the board, you need to drill one hole under the gearbox shaft. Then the author makes a marking and with the help of a jigsaw cuts out three rectangular "windows".
The main stages of work
Three pieces with a blade that will be used as cutting knives will need to be cut from wide kitchen knives. In each workpiece, two holes must be drilled for attaching to the cutting board.
Using the screws, we set the necessary clearance and fasten the cutting knives to the wooden disc. Then we put it on the gear shaft.
At the next stage, the author makes a stand from the boards, to which with the help of clamps the engine with the gearbox is fastened.
The author cuts out the casing and the back wall from the composite panel - they also need to be attached to the stand. A pipe is made from a piece of plastic pipe into which vegetables will then be loaded.
