For more convenient storage of batteries, so as not to look for them in the boxes when they are needed, the author suggests making a simple device with your own hands.

In this review, we will focus on a homemade dispenser with a shelf that can be hung on the wall in the right place. As the main material for the manufacture of this design, the author uses wood and plexiglass.

First of all, it will be necessary to saw blanks from the boards from which the dispenser will be made. Dimensions - at your discretion. Instead of wood, you can also use plywood.

The thickness of the blanks can be any, but the best option is to use an inch board or plywood with a thickness of 18-20 mm. It is possible to take workpieces thicker, but the design will then turn out to be more bulky and heavy.

The main stages of work

The dispenser itself consists of several main parts: the back wall, two side walls, six internal partitions (but there may be more), a separate small shelf in the lower part of the structure, and a door. All blanks that are needed, you can see in the photo below.

In the back wall, you need to make grooves so that you can insert the sidewalls and partitions into them. In the sidewalls themselves, you need to make small cutouts.

Then both sidewalls are connected to the rear wall, and a horizontal jumper is attached. The next step is to glue the bottom of the shelf.

After this, vertical partitions are installed, and additional wooden planks are inserted inside. The distance between the partitions is different - depending on the size of the batteries that will be stored.

Next, you need to cut out pieces of plexiglass to size and glue wooden blocks in their upper part (first you need to make grooves for the thickness of plexiglass in them).

The final touch - and you're done

Then it remains only to fix the door of the lower shelf. For this, the author uses furniture hinges. It will also be necessary to make a door opening stop. You can take, for example, a steel chain.

At the last stage, you will need to cover the dispenser with varnish or stain. And then we hang it on the wall. Now all the batteries can be stored in one place, which is very convenient.

Yes, and get the batteries (whether it is a regular finger-type or, for example, "Krona" is also convenient). If you liked this homemade product, like it.
