If there are sharp jerks during the car’s movement, “dips” occur when you press the gas, acceleration dynamics are lost and gas consumption increases, don’t go to the headstock — you need to clean the fuel injectors.
There are two options: you can go to the service station and order the service for ultrasonic cleaning of nozzles, but you will have to fork out, or clean them yourself in a garage. For many car owners, the second option is preferable.
To flush nozzles in garage conditions, it will be necessary to prepare a 6 V charger, an on / off button, which the author uses as a breaker, as well as an adapter from a piece of rubber and flushing for a carburetor (in the can).
As for the adapter, in this case it is homemade. For its manufacture, the author used a piece from a rubber expander. But you can pick up something else. The adapter must be drilled with a drill with a diameter of 2 mm.
The main stages of work
First of all, it will be necessary to remove the fuel rail (ramp) together with the nozzles. If all at once it is impossible to remove, then it will be necessary to remove the fuel rail, and then get the nozzles themselves from the "nests".
When all the nozzles have been removed, you can proceed to flushing them. To do this, we put a rubber “adapter” from the expander on the spray can and connect the nozzle to the button that is connected to the 6 V charger.
We install the nozzle on the adapter, and you can begin the washing process. For a more detailed description of the garage method for washing the fuel nozzles of a car, see this video.
