In this review, we will talk about one very interesting and unusual way of soldering electrical wires. This method may well be applicable for home repairs or in the country.

To solder the twist of the electrical wires, you will need a conventional welding iron, which is used when installing water systems from polypropylene pipes. The soldering itself is carried out at a temperature of 230 degrees.

It will be necessary to additionally screw a standard brass adapter to the welding iron (soldering iron) for polypropylene, which is used on various compressor installations.

Technology for soldering electrical wires

The first step is to heat the welding iron to a temperature of 230 degrees. In the “glass” of the brass adapter, it will be necessary to melt the solder with rosin (this is usually sold in coils).

Next, twist the wires you need to dip into a container with a neutral flux. And only after that it is possible to dip this twist into a “glass” with previously melted solder.

The result is a neatly sealed wire connection. And although this method is not so relevant today (WAGO terminals and the crimping method are more popular), it may be useful to someone.
