Surely, almost every house has an old pan with a thick soot, which lies somewhere in the corner idle. Instead of just handing it over for scrap, you can use it in everyday life with benefit.

For example, from an old kitchen pan you get a great lampshade for a light bulb. And to make it completely simple. Of the basic tools, only an electric drill and grinder are required.

First of all, it will be necessary to clean the pan from soot - for this the master uses a cord brush for angle grinders.

Manual cleaning will take a lot of time, and you are unlikely to be satisfied with the end result, which is why it is easier to use a grinder.

The main stages of work

Next, you will need to remove the handle by drilling the rivets, and sand the surface of the metal with sandpaper. After that, you need to drill one hole in the center under the cartridge.

If there is no suitable crown for metal in diameter, you can make a hole in another way - by drilling small holes along the contour with a conventional metal drill.

At the next stage, the surface of the pan will need to be degreased and painted: from the inside with white paint, and from the outside - black. For this, the master uses aerosol cans.

After that, it remains only to install the bulb holder in the hole previously drilled in the pan. The cord can be hidden in a thick braided rope.
