So that the shoe care accessories (cream and brush) do not lie anywhere, but are always at hand, you can make a practical case made of wood and leather for storing them.
Moreover, it is advisable to choose valuable wood species with a beautiful surface texture - for example, a bakout (or bakote), mahogany, American walnut, etc. However, if you are making a "summer residence", any wood that is at hand is suitable.

Stage 1

First of all, it is necessary to saw off a piece of a length of about 20-25 cm from the board (the dimensions are determined, depending on the length of the shoe brush). Then saw the workpiece in half lengthwise. On the band saw we set the working table at an angle of 13 degrees and cut seven bars with beveled edges.

Stage 2

We process the billets with sandpaper, then we place them close to each other on scotch tape or masking tape, coat the sides with wood glue and turn them into a groove. After the glue has dried, we proceed to grinding the inner and outer surfaces. From the second half of the board we cut out two side covers. This process is performed on a CNC machine.

Stage 3

At the last stage of the work, we fit all the details to each other, using a chisel and a planer for this, and then glue the groove and side covers together. We cut a piece of genuine leather that is suitable in size and fasten it to glue and decorative nails to the tree.
