This master class will teach us not only to make a beautiful card, but also to come up with an interesting folding form for a card. This will give the card a certain mystery and versatility. So, for this master class we need to take:
• Card layout;
• Blue cardboard, sheet A4;
• Two sheets of paper in blue tones from the series "Merry Steam Locomotive" by Evgenia Kurdibanova;
• Color children's pictures;
• Felled circle;
• Picture a cheerful hippo on watercolor paper;
• Pieces of different paper in blue, blue and salad colors;
• Curb hole punch;
• 3-D hole punch butterfly;
• Satin narrow ribbons with polka dots in blue and aqua;
• Polymeric flowers, buttons, cabochons, paper flowers, half beads, cuttings of blue and sea colors too;
• Blue cotton lace;
• Blue ribbon with pompons;
• Stamp "Happy Jam", green ink;
• PVA glue, ruler, pencil, stationery knife, scissors, double-sided tape, glue gun.
First of all, you need to familiarize yourself with the scheme and cut out the base for a postcard from blue cardboard. With a clerical knife, we make cuts for folding, dashed lines, these are the lines of bends.
We cut, draw bends and fold such a base, it turns out like a chair with a back, and the base thanks to the cardboard is very stable and keeps its shape.
Now we cut out two such shaped blanks from scrapbook paper, we cut four in total. We round off the pictures, cut out flags and strips from the scraps. We make some stripes curly. We stamp “Happy Jam Day” on white paper, cut out the inscription with a rectangle and tint its edges.
We glue pictures, flags and a curly rectangle for congratulations to scrapbook paper and a mug. Sew on a typewriter all the elements.
Now we glue the scrapbook paper blanks to the base and sew in pairs one side of the card and the second at the edges. Sticky tape flags and inscription.
We tie bows from ribbons, cut off lace and ribbon with pompons. We make butterflies with a hole punch and glue the decorations with a glue gun.
We get just such an interesting postcard, which quietly folds and unfolds, acquiring the unusual shape of a stool. Thanks for your attention.
