The first step is to cut the blanks for assembling the formwork. In this case, the master uses chipboard, but formwork can also be made of plywood (it must be moisture resistant).
The main stages of work
We assemble the first frame from chipboard (the shape can be square or rectangular). Then glue the strips or slats inside the frame. Joints must be sealed with sealant.
Then a small frame is made, which is inserted into a large one. The author glues internal joints with hot-melt adhesive. The distance between the walls of the frame will be the thickness of a mini flower bed.
At the next stage, we knead a solution of gypsum or cement, add fiber and pigment. As a result, we get a viscous mixture of the desired shade. Next, fill the space inside the formwork.
The grooves in the side walls of the flower bed must be filled with a solution that mixes with paint of different colors. And you can pour it with epoxy - it will also turn out pretty well.
