To quickly and reliably fix a barrel or other loads in a car trailer, you can use a homemade device. To make it, you will need a gear and pieces of metal.
First of all, you need to cut three pieces of a metal strip: two segments 8 cm long and one shorter segment 5 cm long. The width of the strip itself is 3 cm.
Three pieces of the metal strip must be welded together so that the result is a U-shaped part.
The main stages of work
On the sides of the workpiece you need to drill one hole for the diameter of the stud. You will also need a gear (for example, from a car gearbox), but it will need to be slightly modified by a grinder.
After that, cut off a piece of the stud and make a longitudinal slot under it under the belt. We insert the hairpin into the drilled holes. We weld a nut to one side, a gear to the other.
At the last stage, it remains only to cut out another part, and fix it. Additionally, you will need another spring from a regular clothespin. A bolt is used for fastening, since the part itself must be movable.
Then we weld another hook from a strip of metal. The result is a simple and practical device that will allow you to easily fix a barrel, cabinet or other loads in the trailer.
