For the most accurate linear cut, the author suggests using a cutting machine from a small angle grinder (grinder). In addition, guides and a carriage are provided, on which an angle grinder will be fixed.

The base of the structure is made of wooden blocks. Alternatively, you can use plywood or OSB sheets for this. In general, use whatever is at hand.

First of all, the master cuts off two identical bars, and drills two holes for guides for the carriage with angle grinders in them on a drilling machine.

The main stages of work

Next, you will need to saw off another 2 wooden blocks, and also drill two holes in them, but of a larger diameter. The master will use these two blanks in the manufacture of the carriage.

The base is a sheet of chipboard. At the next stage, the wizard starts assembling. Bearings are pressed into bars with large holes, and then the workpieces are put on metal tubes, which act as guides.

The guides are attached to the base, and then the master begins to manufacture the carriage itself, on which the grinder is then attached. Actually, now you can experience the adaptability in work.

For details on how to make a cutting machine from angle grinders with guides and a carriage with your own hands, see the video on the website.
